Kelly and eric-married, San diego

I’ve been looking forward to Kelly and Eric’s wedding all year. I knew it was going to be awesome because Jesi Haack was on board to style along with Carissa from JL Designs doing her awesome florals. Bow ties were the theme for this one, with bow tie drink stir sticks and name tags for the reception. The best part was the name tags were wearable for the guests. Bow ties for boys and hair pieces for the ladies. It was pretty awesome seeing all the guest wearing these things.  Kelly’s mom made pillows for every seat at the wedding party table.   Instead of cake cutting Kelly and Eric had frozen yogurt from their favorite Fiji Yogurt . It was a party.

Allison & Scott- married, Huntington Beach

Allison and Scott live in the UK and came across the pond to celebrate their wedding with friends and family in Huntington Beach.  I have had a few overseas clients this year and their awesome accents make me really jealous! The Red Horse Barn is always a favorite venue for such amazing bright and clean colors.

I’ve really come to understand the importance of having other great wedding professionals by my side. Having great coordinators, stylist, videographers, florist, and DJ’s really makes the world of difference when it comes to the success of your wedding day. I love working with people who push me creatively.  That is why I wanted to start a new series on my blog called the PRO.files .This is going to be a periodic post featuring some of my favorite wedding professionals that in my opinion will add incredible value to your big day. Hopefully you will get a small glimpse into the personalities of these friends.  I decided to start with Nick Bowser from Crafthouse Productions. He is an amazing videographer , a true artist and mastermind! make sure to check out his blog to see some of his recent work!

Doug & Rachel-married

First off congrats to Doug who just passed the bar exam!! woot! I had such an awesome day with these two. While shooting their ceremony I felt like I was watching friends I had known for years exchange vows. From the first time you meet Doug and Rachel you feel like you have known them forever. It was an honor to create art out of their lives.

Josh & Rachelle -married

Josh and Rachelle threw a huge party. Surrounded by classic cars and ferrari’s the dance floor went off thanks to ej the dj. Rachelle’s sister Rebecca is an awesome family photographer and was a huge part of choosing the photographer for Josh and Rachelle. I was stoked to be refered by another artist and be able to capture their families story. Thanks to Jesi Haack Weddings for the florals, Kelsey Moreau on the make up, and Crevier Classic Cars.
